Payments may be made using the following methods:

  • Pay in person at the Decatur Municipal Court of Record

      • Located in the Decatur City Hall building.
    • The Court accepts the following:
      • Cash
      • Check (no temporary or out-of-state checks)
      • Money order
      • Cashier's check
      • credit/debit card

I want to: Respond to a Citation

The following terms and conditions apply to Online payments:

  • Online payments will NOT be accepted for:
    • Cash Bonds
    • Juvenile Cases (defendant under the age of 17)
    • Payments for individuals in custody
    • Partial Payments that have not already been granted by the Court
  • If you pay online, you are waiving your right to a trial.
  • A plea of No Contest and a disposition of Guilty will be entered on your case.
  • All payments made after 5:00 pm will be posted the following work day.
  • Any payments made on the 31st day after judgment will be subject to a $15.00 Time Payment Fee required by the State.
  1. I have a CDL, am I eligible for deferred disposition or driver's safety course?
  2. I received a ticket for no insurance, then I went and bought insurance the next day. Can I still get ticket dismissed?
  3. I received a ticket for expired registration and I went and got my vehicle registered. Do I still have to pay the ticket?
