• Testing and Education Resource Center
  This collection of study guides and practices tests is made available to library card holders at no cost. It includes materials to prepare for the GED, GRE, SAT, Civil Service test, Citizenship test, and more. It also includes a resume builder. A library card number is required.

• The Library offers free online GED practice tests and GED practice manuals. 

Research Resources

The Decatur Public Library maintains a solid collection of current reference books in the Library, and librarians are available to assist you with your research needs. 

• Reference USA
  Business Module: Allows users to search over 14 million businesses. Data includes: Company Name, Address , Phone Number, Fax Number, Estimated Sales Volume, Number of Employees, Type of Business (SIC Code or Yellow Page Heading), Key Contact Names, Titles and Gender, Credit Rating Code, Company Financials, Stock Information, Public Filings, and News Headlines/Articles from over 900 different sources.
  
  Residential Module: Allows users to search 120 million consumer households. Data includes: Name, Address, City, State, ZIP Code, Phone Number, Age, Median Income, Median Home Value

• Legal Forms
  This is a comprehensive collection of all Texas legal forms. A library card is required. 

• Texshare Databases include resources from more than 4.700 magazines, scholarly publications, and newspapers. These resources are accurate, current, authoritative, and provide full-text articles from verifiable, subscription-only sources. The information that is available through the Texshare Databases IS NOT available on the Internet. 
  
  Access to the Texshare Databases requires a login and password available from your library.

• Global Road Warrior
  Global Road Warrior provides detailed information about all the countries in the world, including useful information for business people traveling abroad. 

• Worldcat
  Allows readers to search for over 1 billion books in over 10,000 libraries to locate a book in the library nearest them
